I hear you say
everyday I don’t really no what to do; I don’t know what, that and this. Okay listen to me, you
don’t want to be this.
I know of guy who wants to write a book, just a book at age of fifteen, but he never wrote a single line, procrastination is a thief of time and I heard of a man who was told he was going to die and because he wanted to live royalty behind for his wife he wrote five and half novel and to tell you he never died, The first guy is me and second guy,he was never a trained novelist and he wrote over seventy books. Let me tell you something you already know if you don’t build your dream someone else will hire you to build theirs.
Stop waiting, delay is
dangerous, whatever you can do later you can do it now, it is just thought
process, if you don’t plan your life someone else would plan it for you.
Let me tell something,
I know very well every human don’t act well enough, they’re just like you and
you like the rest of them, if one person get out of the box he becomes an hero,
do you think heroes came out of space no they extra ordinary because they added
extra to everything they did, I called them X-man.
I remembered a game I
used to play ‘what is going on in that mind’ everyday after work on the street ,
I would begin by looking at people faces while walking home, so many unhappy
faces, unfulfilled mind, despaired soul, pitiful faces, lost soul and angry
people I would try to offer encouragement by trying to offer a little smile but
none took time to even look at my face they’re just too busy lost in their
mysteries but there’s always one hero who would just look back and wonder off
thinking that guy is crazy, I use to say to myself I don’t want to be like
those people.
There’s nothing less
fatiguing like an unfinished job, most human being are just unfinished job even
unto the grave, no wonder someone said the graveyard is the most fertile place
cause it is actually a land filled with unfinished job, unrealised dreams, unaccomplished
purpose. This is life, we all look at our life most often as tomorrow is still
around the corner, young people makes the most of such mistakes, the more we
sleep walk the more we misses life. Let me tell you If you can’t define your
life now, it never gonna happen, now is the time not later. It can never happen
to me but think about a lot of things that had happened to you that you never
wanted life is filled with unwanted situations you just have to deal with it.
When I reminisce I
noticed how life passed by unnoticed, days quickly into week, weeks into
months, months into years and years into more years and before you know it your
are regretting. May be you should begin immediately and start doing that thing
that makes you happy, I know a few things that makes you happy, you love to
design, just stop now and ask yourself what have I design that is truly mine,
create one stupid thing now and keep it, if others pop into your mind create it
and open a blog right away and called it mystupidcreations, then shared it with
friends to tell you just how stupid it is, how is that for a trial, I also know
you love fixing thing just find out how to fix those stubborn hardware problems
and blog about how you fixed a simple issue, keep blogging and tell people see
something simple I fixed.
I know you love singing too, sing two stupid
line of songs and share it with friends
tell them how stupid you think it is but wait there you don’t want to sound
stupid all the time just ask them if it is
good, keep doing what
you love and document them, don’t let a day pass by never again in your life
without doing something for yourself, take stock of all you have ever done for
people and ask yourself how many have you ever done for yourself, ask yourself
how many times have I ever changed people life through instructing how many
time have change your own life, even for a minute.
Make your moment
count, henceforth be a world class achiever that’s what I told myself this year
whatever I am going to be it has to be a world class, I don’t see myself as a
Nigerian alone bt as a citizen of the world, I try as much to be just that.
If you think you are
your young please you are just another pathetic liar like me, I was always
young and still young but look at me now I am few years shy away from thirty, I
thought I had all the time but see where I am now just a common man, so many
dreams just slipped away, so many castle I had built in the air, though that’s
where they are meant to be but I never gave them the right foundation.
Just look at the
they’re living there dreams, while others have spent there whole life still
wandering.
I have a clue what I
am going to be and I am doing just but you have found you true purpose go out
now and stand looking at different faces for five minutes, count ten and see if
you want to be like them, if you don’t want to be like them, better act
immediately if not one day a boy will come out and count you with others and
won’t want to be like you.
Just look at how you
are if you like every beat of it, smile but if you don’t you better be frank
with yourself and change it immediately, if you don’t like where you are read
this.
Okay let me mimic you,
see I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what my passion is, tell me how many
times you have said that to yourself and even to me, and you haven’t found it
all this while, I am sorry for you, if you have all the resources you have and
still count find your sources for passion you
will be sanctioned by life. Get up and make your life a masterpiece.
I am the master of my
own life, my life is my decision, my decision determines my future, my future
is today not tomorrow cause today is a macrocosm of your entire life, Steve
chandler said in his audio book ‘today is your entirely in miniature’.
Before I would end my
little epistle, let me leave you with the closing remark of Steve Job’s speech
